Darkrider Studios (Lethal Obsession, Mother’s Blood) is breathing life into Zack Daggy’s Dark Worlds. Adapted for screen by Daggy and Astral Audio’s Allen Sale, Dark Worlds is an anthology of interconnecting short tales in the vein of Trick r Treat, Creepshow and Twilight Zone: The Movie.

Released March 11th, 2009, the first book in the Dark Worlds Trilogy, Dark Worlds: Project 31 immediately shot up Amazon’s charts, claiming the #6 spot in hot new releases in horror.

About Zack Daggy

Zack “The Mothman” Daggy is an Internet DJ and new media entrepreneur of wide acclaim and a cult fan base. A self-professed workaholic, Zack is the host and creator of a number of original programs including The Mothpod and Midnight Spookshow.

Born in 1985 with a rare genetic disorder, Zack’s boundless energy and irrepressible imagination lead him to create fantastic worlds of suspense and horror, always shot through with humor. He wrote his first story at age seven, was nominated for a People’s Choice Podcast Award in 2008 and published his first novel Dark Worlds: Project 31 in 2009. Zack lives in Indianapolis, IN, where he dreams up twisted things for a living.

Just thought I’d give you a quick update on all things Dark Worlds.

For starters, thanks to each and every one of you for the positive feedback of the podnovel version of Dark Worlds: Project 31! The prologue and first four chapters have been released thus far, and the plan (fingers crossed) is to release ALL the remaining chapters on the same day this coming Halloween!

In the meantime, I’m currently hard at work on part two of the Dark Worlds Trilogy, Dark Worlds: The Gate. What happens next to your favorite Careview residents? You’ll have to wait till 2010 to find out for sure, but I can give you a slight tease of sorts. As you may recall, the band Tiger Lou was kind enough to lend their song The Loyal as the official theme song to Project 31. Staying with that theme (no pun intended) The Gate has it’s very own theme song as well. The song is My Last Goodbye, and it’s by local Indianapolis band Noctura. It’s no secret that I based Careview on a mix of locations here in Indiana, so to have an Indy band supplying the theme is epic on so many levels. Definitely check them out, and hit the play button below to give the song a listen.
