Pod 5 Idol is a cyber celebrity singing competition in which Podcasters, Podsafe Artists, and others in new media compete on the behalf of their favorite charities. Judges include Pod 5 regulars Slappy, Hou Phlung Pou, and ARNOLD Schwarzenegger. Hosted by Zack Daggy and Dwight Dunlop.

Official Rules of Pod 5 Idol:
All contestants must be in new media. (Podcasters, Podsafe Artists, Etc,)
Contestants must select a charity to represent before submitting a clip.
Charity selected by contestant must take online donations. (Most do)
Contestants must record an under 2 min clip of them singing a Podsafe track.
Clips can be audio or video.
Songs must be available on the Podsafe Music Network.
All entires must be sung WITHOUT music.
Artists can NOT sing their own song. (Unfair advantage)
Clips must be sent to mothpod@gmail.com before March 23rd.
Fans will vote for their favorite contestants between March 30th and April 13th.
Votes will be sent to an email address that will be revealed at the end of the clip show on March 30th.
Voting ends on April 13th at 12:00 a.m. EST
A prize pack will be given to at least one lucky voter. (To be drawn at random on April 13th.)
The contestant with the most votes will be declared the winner of Pod 5 Idol during the live results show on April 13th.
After a winner is selected, all contestants will be sent a link to the winner’s pre-selected charity. Contestants will then donate $5 to that charity.

Song and original artist name.
A link to the charity that the contestant represents.
